About Rows

Rows was a browser-based spreadsheet and AI data-analysis workspace that connected business data sources, imported files and PDFs, built dashboards and reports, and let users ask natural-language questions of tables. It historically offered AI Analyst, automated Data Tables, API functions, collaborative sharing and embeddable reports. IMPORTANT CURRENT STATUS: On February 22, 2026, Rows announced an acquisition by Superhuman and a planned full wind-down by May 31, 2026. As of this research date in October 2026, its website displays a Superhuman transition notice; the remaining Free, Plus and Pro pricing figures are legacy information, not actionable new-subscription offers. New buyers should not plan a Rows implementation. Research about its former feature set is maintained for historical comparison, vendor discovery and migration research. G2 and Capterra review averages reflect former product experiences, not currently available service quality. Toolbaaz has not checked customer data export, login access, or post-shutdown support firsthand.

Best for

Historical research about connected spreadsheets, AI analytics and existing Rows-to-Coda/Superhuman migration planning; not suitable for any new production purchase or implementation.

Rows pros and cons

Pros

  • Formerly combined spreadsheet familiarity with integrations and AI analysis.
  • Archived docs detail the limits and capabilities of past tiers.
  • Public founder announcement provides an explicit product wind-down timeline.
  • Legacy review pages retain accounts of strengths in automation and business reporting.

Cons

  • −Discontinued after the May 31, 2026 wind-down plan; not a viable new SaaS purchase.
  • −Archived vendor price cards are not current offers and can mislead readers.
  • −Legacy integrations, workbook sharing and access may no longer be available.
  • −Historical review scores do not evaluate present continuity, uptime or support.
  • −Migration/export status for any particular former customer has not been verified.

Alternatives to Rows

Rows — frequently asked questions

Is Rows still available to new customers in 2026?
Do not assume so. Rows announced it would wind down completely on May 31, 2026 after joining Superhuman; the surviving site directs visitors toward Superhuman products.
Why does Rows still show Free, Plus and Pro pricing?
Those values remain visible on an archived marketing page, but Rows itself announced its product wind-down. The prices are historical and should not be interpreted as active checkout offers.
What happened to Rows?
On February 22, 2026, its founders announced a plan to join Superhuman and concentrate on data-driven capabilities across Coda and other Superhuman products, with Rows.com slated to wind down by May 31, 2026.
What did Rows AI do?
The former product combined natural-language spreadsheet analysis, document data extraction, report generation and connected, automatically refreshed Data Tables.
Can existing users export their spreadsheets?
This research did not inspect post-wind-down account access or export paths. Former customers should refer to their specific sunset emails and seek help through the vendor contact supplied in the official announcement.
Can I use old Rows integrations or the API?
Their continuing availability is not established. Do not build a new workflow on the assumption that these endpoints are active after the published wind-down date.
Are Rows G2 and Capterra ratings still valid?
Those review aggregates document former user sentiment, not the reliability or purchase suitability of Rows today. They are not Toolbaaz editorial scores.
Is Superhuman Docs the same product as Rows?
No. The transition page links to Superhuman Docs and the company mentioned future Coda work, but that does not establish a one-to-one migration of all Rows features or customer data.
