About Lavender
Lavender is an AI email coach for sales reps and teams who want structured suggestions while drafting outreach. Its browser/inbox integrations help score messages, improve wording for mobile reading, surface prospect-related personalization cues and recommend changes based on what its vendor says it has learned from past emails. Team plans add coaching dashboards and analytics so managers can review writing practices across sellers. The Email Coach is distinct from Lavender’s newer Ora agent, which researches, writes and sends outbound email campaigns and carries its own much higher agent fee. The official Coach page includes a Free Forever Basic tier capped at five email analyses and five personalization actions a month. Paid Starter is US$29 per month, or $27 per month equivalent when billed annually ($324 per year). Individual Pro is $49 monthly or $45 annual-equivalent ($540 per year), while Team Plan is $99 per seat monthly or $89 per seat annual-equivalent ($1,068/year per seat). A seven-day trial advertises all integrations without a credit card. Ora can be built free but launching costs US$500 per agent each month, which must not be included in a Coach subscription price. Vendor pages do not establish localized India taxes or checkout rates. Lavender suits BDRs, SDRs, account executives and team leads running frequent personalized outbound messages where writing discipline and manager coaching matter. It is less appealing to casual users with only an occasional email, or organizations expecting it to supply all lead data, send sequences or prove response-rate uplift on its own. A small set of G2 Email Coach reviews describes fast feedback and easy Gmail use alongside occasional generic suggestions or perceived cost, but these are attributed experiences, not a Toolbaaz usability test or causal measurement of increased meetings. The company describes its own SOC 2 Type 2 and privacy safeguards; Toolbaaz has not independently read its audit report.

Lavender pros and cons
Pros
- Live email scoring and actionable edits can be applied in the inbox instead of switching to a generic text chatbot.
- Basic Free Forever plan and a separate seven-day all-integration free trial offer ways to assess fit before paying.
- The paid Starter and Pro rates are transparently listed in both monthly and annual-equivalent forms by the vendor.
- Built-in personalization prompts and mobile-layout advice target practical cold-email problems.
- Team-level coaching dashboard and aggregated email insights are available on the Team Plan; selected G2 reviewers praise Gmail convenience and writing clarity.
Cons
- −Free Basic permits only five analyses and five personalization actions monthly, too little for active prospecting.
- −Team Plan is billed per seat and costs considerably more than an individual Starter or Pro subscription.
- −Several integrations and team analytics have higher-plan eligibility; vendor web pricing markup is complex and should be checked at checkout.
- −AI suggestions can sound generic or depend on available prospect data; they still need the rep’s judgement and compliance review.
- −Ora’s autonomous outbound is a distinct US$500/agent/month product rather than a free upgrade of Lavender Email Coach.
