About Lindy
Lindy is an AI work assistant that can handle meeting notes, inbox triage, drafting, recurring reminders and multi-step tasks inside connected business tools. In its current teammate-centered product, teams can interact in Slack, set scheduled routines, share meeting context and use skills and integrations to coordinate actions across email, calendar, CRM and work systems. Approval controls let people review externally visible actions before Lindy sends messages or changes systems. The vendor markets model choice, MCP support and broad connector coverage; actual permissions and reliability depend on which services a customer connects. The current pricing page gives new accounts $50 of credits valid for seven days without a credit card; this is a temporary free allowance, not a permanent monthly free-credit subscription. The Team plan starts at US$29.99 per active user per month for 3,000 credits, with a pooled workspace balance. Higher credit allocations are selectable; top-ups cost $10 per 1,000 credits. Monthly subscription credits reset and do not roll over, while paid top-up credits carry different treatment. Bigger research, dashboard and multi-tool actions may consume hundreds or thousands of credits per run. Enterprise access is quote-based and adds identity management and custom controls. The Lindy homepage sometimes shows $49.99 for a 5,000-credit slider selection: that is a different quantity, not proof the $29.99 tier is withdrawn. Lindy can help small operations teams and busy professionals with recurring administrative work and multi-app handoffs, provided they supervise what the agent is allowed to do. It is less suited to teams demanding predictable flat-rate unlimited automation, users uncomfortable granting third-party app access, or high-consequence medical/legal workflows without careful controls and human checks. G2 feedback primarily relates to an evolving product, and Capterra reviews are only two older accounts with outdated tier descriptions. Toolbaaz has not deployed or benchmarked Lindy.
Best for
Busy operators, founders and small teams automating inbox, follow-up, calendar and recurring tasks across approved business tools.
Lindy pros and cons
Pros
- Slack-native collaboration and scheduled routines can reduce manual coordination across day-to-day tools.
- Shared credit pools let teams allocate usage across active paid seats rather than isolating every workflow.
- Approval prompts before outside-impact actions provide a governance mechanism for emails and system updates.
- Broad integration and MCP support can connect routine admin tasks without custom integration code.
- A seven-day $50 introductory credit allowance permits scoped evaluation without a credit card.
Cons
- −The free $50 credit allowance expires after seven days; it is not an enduring fully featured free subscription.
- −Every active seat is billable and bigger jobs can use 1,000–2,500 credits, so recurring costs vary greatly by workload.
- −Monthly credits expire at renewal, requiring planning to avoid unused budget.
- −Agent reliability depends on clear instructions, authentication and connected-app access; the two older Capterra reviews report mixed experiences.
- −Enterprise security configurations and HIPAA documentation should be verified in a signed agreement for regulated use.
