About Taskade
Taskade has evolved from collaborative task lists into an AI-powered workspace for organizing projects, connecting knowledge, building hosted Genesis apps, deploying agents and creating automations. Teams can work in project views, train agents on workspace files and connect workflow steps to outside services through a catalog of integrations. The current public pricing page advertises a limited Free tier, Pro at $10 per month equivalent billed $120 annually, Business at $25 billed $300 annually, Max at $100 and Enterprise at $250 billed annually. These are subscription/workspace prices with user allowances and usage controls, not unlimited consumption of advanced AI. In particular, the live public FAQ says Free starts without automatically issued AI credits, while older Taskade help documentation describes a different free credit allotment. Because those sources disagree, buyers should confirm their account balance in the live billing screen rather than rely on old help-page figures. Taskade’s September 2026 security statement says SOC 2 Type II readiness is underway, with no completed audit report or standard customer DPA yet; teams with sensitive or regulated data should assess that limitation before uploading it. Reviews discuss approachable organization and powerful agents but also learning curve and credit depletion. There is no Toolbaaz hands-on test or approved score.
Best for
Operators, startups and team leads who want a shared project workspace tied to AI automation and no-code internal apps; poor fit for regulated data without an appropriate security agreement or deterministic software engineering builds.
Taskade pros and cons
Pros
- Brings project knowledge, AI agents, automations and hosted no-code apps into a common workspace.
- Free tier supports basic exploration with hosted apps and automations, without a permanent subscription commitment.
- Pro annual pricing includes up to ten collaborators, a named credit allotment and extensive integrations.
- Power users can connect workflow data through APIs, webhooks, Slack, Gmail and other services.
- The vendor publishes unusually explicit security gaps, such as pending SOC 2 audit, rather than implying it is already certified.
Cons
- −AI credits are metered and the Free plan no longer reliably includes an automatic allowance on the current FAQ.
- −Some vendor help pages conflict with current pricing around plans, free credits and yearly discounts.
- −The scope of Genesis (projects, app hosting, agents and automations) raises a real onboarding and governance learning curve.
- −Taskade itself says it lacks a completed SOC 2 Type II audit and currently does not provide a signed DPA/SCC to customers.
- −General-purpose tool is not certified for regulated health/payment data; AI may be routed to providers outside user jurisdiction.
- −No Toolbaaz product test, integration audit or human-approved scoring exists.
